The HP CN684EE No.364XL Black high capacity ink cartridge allows you to print approximately twice as many pages as with the standard capacity No.364 Black ink cartridge - it contains 14ml of ink, compared with 6ml of ink in the standard capacity version. The HP364 XL cartridges save both time and money, with a lower cost per print, and less time spent replacing empty cartridges.

HP No.364XL Black Ink Cartridges - CN684EE and CB321EE
The HP CN684EE cartridge replaces the previous version of this cartridge - the CB321EE. While the CN684EE is labelled as the No.364 XL Black ink cartridge, the CB321EE was also labelled as the No.364 XL Black ink cartridge! The new version, the CN684EE, contains 14ml of ink, while the older version, the CB321EE contained 18ml of ink. HP changed the cartridge code and capacity back in early 2011, so the 18ml capacity CB321EE is no longer available. Fortunately, the price of the newer, smaller CN684EE version is around 25% lower than that of the older, larger CB321EE version, so the cost per milliletre of ink is roughly the same for both the CN684EE and CB321EE.
It is possible that if you have an old HP No.364XL Black ink cartridge, you may have a cartridge labelled as CB321EE. If this is the case, the replacement cartridge you require is the CN684EE, as the CB321EE is no longer available.
