Manfrotto ML480H Maxima LED Light - Hybrid Version
The Manfrotto ML840H "Maxima" is the range-topping on-camera LED panel from Manfrotto.
The ML840H is an 84 LED panel, producing a massive output of consistent, high quality 5600 degrees kelvin sunlight. The Hybrid Flash function on the Manfrotto ML840H is tailor made for digital SLR cameras with HD video capability. The ML840H offers the ability to switch from continuous beam to a flash with four times the output of the continuous light, meaning the ML840H can provide continuous light when shooting video, as well as the flash capability required when taking stills.
Supplied with a ball head mount that allows you to attach the Manfrotto ML840H either to the hot shoe of your camera, a tripod head with 3/8" thread or a light stand with 3/8” thread. The Manfrotto ML840H can be positioned either vertically or horizontally thanks to the "duo" feature, meaning that the light has two different female flash attachments on the body of the light itself. It is also possible to stack more than one Manfrotto LED panel in order to increase the total light output.
Unlike other models in the Manfrotto range, the ML840H contains a built-in Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery, with a lifespan of around 1.5 hours between charges. The ML840H also comes with accessories included - 2 gels & a diffuser.
A backlight LED at 3200° K is included on the right bottom side of the case in order to illuminate the camera controls when shooting in darkness.
The light output of the Manfrotto 840H can be index dimmed from 0 - 100%.
