Lensbaby Composer Selective Focus SLR Lens - with Double Glass Optic - Nikon mount
The award-winning Composer is one of the most popular lenses in the Lensbaby range. It is supplied with the Double Glass Optic already installed and is compatible with all the optics in the Lensbaby Optic Swap System. The Composer's design is based on a ball and socket configuration that delivers smooth selective focus photography with unparalled ease. Simply tilt the lens to a desired angle and then focus with the manual focusing ring.
The Composer stays in the desired bent position without requiring a locking mechanism, and is easy to use even with one hand. If you want to ensure the Composer will not move during an extended shooting session, you can lock the lens's position by rotating the Locking Ring. This locking feature makes the Composer ideal for studio photography or for longer or repeated exposures.
The Double Glass Optic is the most popular Lensbaby optic, providing a pin-sharp Sweet Spot of focus surrounded by blur, with minimum diffusion at all aperture settings. The size of the Sweet Spot is controlled by the aperture; the larger the aperture opening, the smaller the Sweet Spot.
