Vanguard Elite CP324 Monopod
There’s no more fitting name than Elite for these monopods; they’re in their own class! Vanguard Elite carbon fibre monopods are ultra lightweight yet maintain stability for heavy professional photography gear.
The Vanguard Elite CP-324 holds up to 10kg and has one-twist leg locks. Its foot is adjustable for any terrain. It includes a karabiner to attach to a belt or camera bag as well as a wrist strap that adjusts for a perfect fit.
In a group monopod test in the September 2011 issue of PhotoPlus magazine, monopods from Giottos, Slik, Benro and Manfrotto were tested alongside the Vanguard Elite CP-324, with the Vanguard coming out on top! An overall score of 93% compared extremely favourably with the next highest score of just 85%. Here's what the testers concluded:
