Utilising Manfrotto's unique and innovative Neotec rapid opening and closing mechanism, the Manfrotto 685B is a monopod like no other! Just pull the leg of the Manfrotto 685B downwards to open and automatically lock it in any position, with no screws, knobs or levers to tighten or loosen. Then to fold it back up again, press the mechanism release button and push the leg closed.

A convenient rubber pedal attached to the bottom section allows you to open the Manfrotto 685B monopod with only one hand - leaving you other hand free to hold your camera.

The Manfrotto 685B's "upside down" leg arrangement prevents water or mud entering the monopod, and the padded leg-warmer makes the monopod more comfortable to hold, and protects your hands in cold weather.
