Hahnel Inspire - LiveView Remote - Canon
The Hahnel Inspire Wireless LiveView Remote Control is a 2.4GHz wireless shutter release with built-in 3.5" colour LCD. The screen displays a LiveView image from the DSLR on which the receiver is mounted, or if the camera does not support LiveView, live video of the scene is displayed from the built-in CMOS camera. View these images from up to 60 metres away from the camera, ensuring you take the perfect photograph at exactly the right time and making it ideal for wildlife, sport, and photography in hazardous locations.
If your DSLR lens is set in a close-up zoom, the built-in camera in the receiver is a seperate, convenient wide-angle LiveView for surveying the overall scene. You are able to switch between scene view and camera view at the click of a button, allowing you to monitor the scene prior to switching to the DSLR LiveView to take the shot.
Multiple Remote Camera Control
The Inspire transmitter is able to control 4 different receivers connected to four different DSLRs. You can switch between the LiveView scene of each camera at the touch of a button, and while you are controlling one camera, the other receivers go into sleep mode to conserve power.
Universal Power Source
The Inspire can be powered with AA Alkaline batteries (4 in the transmitter, 4 in the receiver, included in the box), which can be easily replaced. Higher power and environmentally friendly rechargeable Ni-MH AA cells can also be used.
The built-in mini USB socket offers unlimited additional power options (eg. direct power from laptop, external Li-ion battery packs, AC/DC adapter, or even a 5V solar source).
Camera Compatibility
The phono socket on the receiver allows easy connection to the camera's AV output using the AV cable supplied with the camera. For use with cameras that do not have an AV output or do not offer Live View, the built-in CMOS camera on the receiver sends a LiveView of the camera scene to the LCD on the transmitter.
