Circular Polarising filters are used to remove unwanted reflections from surfaces such as glass and water, as well as to increase contrast and saturation. By rotating the outer filter frame, the direction of the polarisation can be altered until the correct angle is achieved.

Haida Circular Polarizing (C-POL) filters use a neutral polarisation material to reduce colour cast. Special manufacturing techniques are used to apply this to high quality Schott optical glass using a crack resistant treatment. The frame is made of black superfine polished metal, and features knurled edges for easier rotation. Haida manufactures each CPL filter such that they can guarantee it will rotate smoothly at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 80°C.
