Hoya ND400 Filter - 67mm
The Hoya 67mm HMC NDx400 Filter reduces light entering the lens by approximately 8 2/3 stops. This vast reduction in light is ideal for photographing incredibly bright subjects such as solar eclipses, industrial welding processes and other ultra-bright light sources, which could otherwise be extremely dangerous. It can also be used to achieve super slow shutter speeds in daylight to render moving subjects invisible, making for strange, ghost-town like pictures of busy city streets and dream-like landscapes.
Hoya HMC (Hoya Multi-Coated) filters are renowned for their ability to minimise reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting. The result is an average light transmission of over 97%, giving sharp contrast and well balanced color. Hoya HMC filters are recommended for enhancing the performance of today's multicoated lenses.
