The NEW Hahnel Triad 60 Lite tripod, just like its smaller brother the Triad 30 lite, is an exceptional tripod for the money.
Extending to a maximum height of 162cm, while folding down to just 61cm, and weighing just 1.9kg, the Hahnel Triad 60 Lite is an extremely competant full-size tripod.
The supplied fluid-damped head is very well constructed, allowing smooth and controlled panning, while also offering the flexibility of positioning the camera either horizontally or vertically. Supplied with a quick-release plate - with extra quick-release plates also available seperately. The head is attached using a 3/8 thread, meaning it can be unscrewed from the legs - something not possible with most tripod/head combinations in this price range - which means you can use other heads on these legs, or this head with other legs if you desire.
The 4-section legs are independently adjustable for both height and angle, and the centre column is reversible for low-angle work - both features usually reserved for more expensive tripods. Also featuring easy-to-use flip-lock lags and two integrated spirit levels, this is a quality tripod.
