The Trek-Tech OptiMount (formally called the VersaMount) is a versatile mounting bracket, ideally suited for macro photography or low angle shots.
Manufactured from high-strength aluminium alloy, it clamps to any tube from 0.56" (14.25mm) to 1.16" (29.5mm) diameter - ideal for attaching to tripods, monopods, chair legs, etc.
It uses a standard 1/4" male stud, allowing a ball head (such as a Trek-Tech MagMount) to be attached to the OptiMount. Alternatively, a camera can be attached directly to the OptiMount if so desired.
