Vanguard SBH20P Aluminium Alloy Ball Head
The Vanguard SBH20P Ball Head is Vanguard's smallest, lightest, ball head - yet is still strong enough to hold 4kg of equipment. The SBH20P is a cast aluminium alloy ball head, making it extremely lightweight, yet strong and durable. The fluid ball head ensures a silkier, smoother movement than most ball heads. Unlike other ball heads, the Vanguard SBH ball heads are designed with moulded body parts, not assembled cut parts. Its smooth locking knobs allow you to move the ball head swiftly and securely into the perfect position. The Vanguard SBH-20P Ball Head tilts from -90°to 90°, expanding your angle possibilities.
The Vanguard SBH20P attaches to the tripod using a 3/8" female thread, allowing it to be used on all professional tripods with a 3/8" male screw thread. It also includes a 1/4" adapter, meaning it can also be attached to tripods that use a 1/4" male screw thread.
The Vanguard SBH20P does incorporate a quick release plate - it simply has a 1/4" stud on the top, allowing the camera, or other equipment, to be attached directly to the ball head. Vanguard do also make a version of this ball head with a quick release plate - the SBH20.
