Vanguard Magnesium SBH-50 Ball Head (SBH-50 / SBH50)
This cast magnesium ball head is extremely lightweight, yet strong and durable. The fluid ball head ensures a silkier, smoother movement than most ball heads, and the single locking knob allows the ball to be locked quickly and securely in place. Two built-in spirit levels allow you to align the head quickly and easily.
It attaches to the tripod using a 3/8" female thread, allowing it to be used on all professional tripods with a 3/8" male screw thread. It also includes a 1/4" adapter, meaning it can also be attached to tripods that use a 1/4" male screw thread.
The included QS-39 quick-release plate has the standard 1/4" male camera screw thread and pin for attaching to your camera. These QS-39 plates are also available separately, should you have more than one camera or zoom lens you wish to use on the tripod without constantly detaching and reattaching plates.
