Unlike traditional tripods, the
AltaPRO’s Multi-Angle-Central-Column (MACC) allows the user to position the hexagonal central column at ANY angle from 0 to 130 degrees, without removing it from the tripod, while also allowing it to rotate a full 360 degrees! The clever Instant-Swivel-Stop-and-Lock (ISSL) mechanism allows photographers to securely reposition the central column in one simple movement, in a matter of seconds.

magnesium die-cast canopy, not cheaper aluminium castings as with almost all other sub-£200 tripods.
